Hello. I partitioned my hard drive so that I could run vista on my macbook pro (purchased in late 2006). The issue I'm having is getting the audio to work when I run vista. Apparently it's not detecting any audio hardware installed. I'm having a rough time trying to find a solution to this problem. From what I've researched thus far, it seems as though I need to get the appropriate drivers to solve the problem. System profiler says the audio is 'Intel High Definition Audio' so I'm assuming I need those drivers but I can't find them anywhere. People have mentioned copying the diskimage.dmg file but that doesn't exist on my laptop (I've searched for it). I also don't have a Leopard CD.
So what I guess I'm asking is does anyone know where I can get the appropriate fix for my vista audio problem? Do I need to find the right drivers? If so, where can I download them? Someone please help me out I'm going nuts trying to find the solution. I even tried parallels but it crashes too much. Thanks in advance!
